Shifter is new however the internal hydraulic reservoir has an issue or blockage which perhaps can be cleared. But it bleeds poorly, has a hard time pulling in more oil, potentially leaving a spongy feeling. "Pushing" from the caliper with syringe while "pulling" from the shifter top port with another and really working it might get there but selling as is with price reflecting.
