P1377 Lothar Walther Barrel+1701P Match Trigger+STEEL BREECH Crosman Custom Mods

This is a bolt action pumper airgun like the one you had as a kid, modded for the adult. This Crosman P1377 has been modified to address all of the common issues that this otherwise outstanding air rifle has, detailed below. These mods turn this otherwise "toy gun" into a serious backyard blaster! These guns are famously accurate & remarkably durable, making fantastic target shooters, small game hunters, or survival weapons. This upgraded bundle comes with a free tin of pellets and some splatter targets to get you started right away, as well as the following enhancements.

Lothar Walther 10.1" Match Barrel: This airgun has a German made Lothar Walther competition barrel installed for maximum accuracy. Milled to roughly the same dimensions as the stock Crosman barrel, but under strict tolerances for competition use. Barrel can be distinguished as LW by the dimple on top as well as the slightly shorter length, as seen in photos 3 & 4. (Crosman stock barrel on left, LW barrel on right).

2 Stage Competition Trigger Group: The entire trigger group has been replaced with a match grade 2 stage trigger, with both stages fully adjustable along with an overtravel adjustment screw. This trigger group produces a remarkably smooth, short travel trigger with a very light pull (pull weight can be adjusted). For those wanting match grade accuracy and the ultimate feel in quality shooting, this is the trigger for you. 

Upgraded Hammer: Comes with an aftermarket polished steel notched hammer to work seamlessly with the trigger group and provide a more consistent and heavier hit of the valve pin, releasing the compressed air into the barrel in a more sudden & uniform manner. 

Steel Breech installed with 3/8" Dovetail mount for accepting optics such as red dot sights or scopes. The steeel breech also has a bigger bolt than the stock 1377 bolt and adds weight to the rear of the gun. The action feels great with these breeches, gives the entire airgun a quality feel.  Note that the mod photos may not show the steel breech, but it will be installed in this airgun - and the wax breech screw well mod will also be applied.

Solid Roll-Pin Replacement: The stock rollpin that holds the pump arm to the airgun can over time work its way loose, particularly if not regularly oiled as per Crosman guidelines. Also, if you ever need to remove it, it can be a bit of a pain to punch it out with a hammer, and each time this is done may create added weakness to the press fit pin. This optional upgrade replaces the rollpin with a solid steel "rollpin" held in with circlips. (Not pictured) 

For the serious modder out there, these airguns are some of if not the most modifiable of any on the market. Everything from power mods such as upgraded valves & pistons to custom bolt handles, target triggers, attractive wood grips, to shiny brass parts to longer barrels & more are all readily available on the aftermarket for this gun! 

Paracord wrap color: Put a note during checkout of the color of the paracord wrap you want. Options are: Black, Tan, Camo, or Purple.

List of Modifications:

• Slick Loading Breech: The breech screw well catches pellets during loading, causing much frustration and often damaging the pellet skirt. We have solved this issue with a wax coating over the breech screw, leading to perfect, smooth, damage free pellet loading, every time. Wax is easily removed if access to the breech screw is ever needed. 
  
• Quiet Pumper: The stock pump forearm makes a horrendous "CLACK!" sound as it impacts against the metal main tube. We have reduced this drastically to a muted "thud" by inconspicuously placing some 1/4" thick neoprene held in with ultra-thick & strong double sided Gorilla tape & protected with vinyl tape wrap, all underneath the forearm hidden from sight. 
• Tight Pump-Arm: The stock pump-arm pivot is very loose and sloppy when the pump-arm is extended out. We insert a properly sized washer to space out the action leading to a more durable and pleasant pumping experience.
• Firm Shoulder Stock: The shoulder stock on these guns stock has loose tolerances, leading to a slightly shifty shoulder stock. We strategically place felt pads to ensure your stock stays permanently tight against the frame assembly, with no play whatsoever. 
• Neoprene Cheek Pad: The shoulder stock on this gun slopes downward from the barrel, which leads to having no proper place to plant your cheek for the optimal hold, particularly if you mount an optic. This makes it to where one must "hover one's head" around the sights leading to a less predictable shot pattern. We wrap 2 layers of 1/4" thick neoprene around the stock which raises it just to the right level, perfect to plant against your cheek for added support. It's soft and warm against the skin.
• QR Removable Shoulder Sling: A simple 550 paracord loop shoulder sling with quick release slipknot slips over the shoulder stock for when you want to let the airgun hang by your side or on your back. It allows for the gun to be pulled up to the shooting position and back down seamlessly. Because these guns are relatively light at around 3lbs, this sling is all you need. 
• Factory Clean & Lube: Airguns are nifty in that they do not require barrel cleaning like traditional powder burner guns do. However, the barrels come loaded with gunk straight from the factory left over from the manufacturing process. We deep clean the barrel so you don't have to get a pricey cleaning kit for a one-off use. In addition, we apply Crosman Pellgunoil to all 3 pivot points, pump cup & bolt O-ring so your new gun is in tip top shape ready to shoot. 

Optional Upgrades: 

Optional Suppressor: Add a functional removable thread-on suppressor. It really, truly works. The report on these airguns can be surprisingly audible, particularly in non-open spaces and may not be suitable for many urban backyard settings. With the suppressor option, these really can be shot just about anywhere without causing any suspicion. All that is heard with this option is the action of the hammer; the compressed air "snap" virtually cannot be heard. We include an upgraded rollpin standard with the suppressor add-on.
